THE BLINKY PALERMO GRANT OF THE OSTDEUTSCHE SPARKASSENSTIFTUNG/SPARKASSE LEIPZIG
The Blinky Palermo Grant, which is financed by the Ostdeutsche Sparkassenstiftung/Sparkasse Leipzig, refers to artist from all over the world. One jury nominates fifteen candidates from which another jury selects the winner. The terms of the bursery stipulate that the artist should develop a work that is specific for the local area. This will then be presented in a large solo-exhibition in the GfZK. Among the previous winners of the grant are Francesco Vezzoli, Sofie Thorsen, Dorit Margreiter and Dora Garcia.
